
This camera was introduced today at the IFA. Like most action cameras, the HDR-AS15 is designed mainly for athletes and extreme lovers - the camera can be attached to a helmet or to a surfboard, used during diving, and so forth, so on.
It withstands difficult weather conditions (rain, snow, cold), provides full water resistance at a depth of 60 meters. Plus protection from dirt, dust and sand. The camera comes complete with mounts.

It is possible to use 5 different shooting modes, from FullHD to VGA. There is also a function of accelerated shooting (slow motion when viewing), which should appeal to, say, BMX fans. Or golf. Or any other sport.
Viewing angle - 170 degrees.

The camera has no built-in memory at all, but there is support for SD and Memory Stick Micro cards. To transfer video to the big screen on board there is an HDMI output.

HDR-AS15 will appear on the shelves of the United States in September, the issue price - $ 200.
There will be another model with the same characteristics, but also with WiFi, in order to immediately transfer data, say, to the tablet. It will cost $ 270.
The European market will receive cameras in October.
