An error was registered in the updated version of the Google Chrome browser

In Chrome, starting with Version: 21.0.1180.60, an error has been noted that is described on the Google bug tracker:
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=140755#makechanges

The essence of this error is that flash video (flv linked to swf) located on the local computer is not played by the built-in player of the Chrome browser. When you turn off the built-in player, flash video without errors is played by a standard player installed from the Adobe website.

To disable the built-in player, enter the instruction in the address bar: chrome: // plugins /, expand the list of plug-ins (the button labeled “Details”), find the built-in (supplied with the browser) Shockwave Flash plug-in (pepflashplayer.dll for the Windows platform), if a standard flash plugin from the Adobe site was installed, the flash plugin will not be one, and click on the “Disable” link. In other (popular) browsers that support flash, no such error was noticed.

Attention! If there is no need to play a local flash video, then you should not disable the built-in plug-in, as the video placed on the Internet, the built-in plug-in plays without problems.
