Anti-spam worldwide

Russia joined the international anti-spam coalition: The Russian Committee of the UNESCO Information for All Program recently joined the London Action Plan for International Cooperation in the Application of Anti-Spam Law .



The initiative to unite the fight against a common Internet ail was supported by 45 organizations, including regulators, trade unions, telecommunications companies from 25 countries around the world, including Australia, the UK, Germany, China, the USA, South Korea and Japan.



Evgeny Altovsky, the Anti-Spam Project Coordinator, calls the London Action Plan the first international initiative of such a high level: “In the future, it is within the Plan that a“ critical mass ”of countries that have taken effective technological, legal and ethical measures against spam can be formed. It will determine international policy in this area. "

“Since the Russian authorities have not yet joined the London Action Plan, we decided to limit ourselves to observer status,” added Altovsky. “However, with low formalization of this structure, status will not prevent us from actively participating in its work.”
