Synology Inc announced the launch of a 2-disk NAS DiskStation DS213 +. The novelty is distinguished by reliability, high performance and low power consumption. Designed specifically for small and medium businesses, the DiskStation DS213 + is a great solution for full-featured data storage.
In its segment, the new Synology model not only has the highest data transfer rate, but at the same time offers a high degree of energy saving. In the two-level hibernation mode, the DS213 + consumes only 2.64 watts.
Synology DS213 + is based on a dual-core processor with a clock speed of 1.067 GHz and has a read speed of up to 110.36 MB / s and a write speed of up to 84.31 MB with (in Windows environment in RAID 1 mode). For a more demanding user, the DS213 + processor is paired with a 64-bit block of floating-point operations, which greatly improves the speed and improves the performance of multimedia applications. In addition, the DS213 + has updated capabilities for video surveillance, which include the ability to simultaneously connect up to 12 high-resolution IP cameras.

Special casing design and 92 mm fan improve overall air circulation, preventing overheating. The combined cooling system of the device allows to achieve a low noise level - up to 19.9 dB (A), which is much quieter compared to a PC.
