According to Norwegian police, the 15-year-old Marius Borg Høiby, the son of Crown Prince Haakon from his first marriage, started a Instagram account almost a year ago. During this time, he published family photos with GPS data in it, which, according to police, could threaten the physical safety of the royal family.
In total, the network got 133 photos with geo-data, some of them were followed by captions with comments about where the family will be in the near future.
The account was promptly removed, the blame for the incident was laid on the Norwegian police, which "did not explain to the royal family what risks the publication of confidential data may carry in the public domain."
