The Yandex.Disk service will become international

It seems that the company “Yandex” is going to make its service “Yandex. Disk "international. Among other things, Yandex has agreed with Samsung about presetting Disk to all South Korean giant ultrabooks distributed in Russia.

All ultrabook buyers who buy their devices before December 31 will receive 250 GB of file space. These devices are already on sale this week. In general, this is quite an interesting proposal, since at the moment the amount of file space for ordinary users is only 10 GB. “Yandex” in this case even outstripped the “Corporation of Good”, which seems to be negotiating with Google about the pre-installation of Google Drive.

It may well be that not only this, but also its other services, the company will try to open to the international community. Most likely, the agreement with Samsung will spread to other markets, where ultrabooks of the South Korean company will soon go on sale.

In general, with the offer of 250 GB of file space for each Samsung ultrabook buyer, Yandex.Disk has good chances to become a popular service outside of Russia and the CIS. Indeed, so far no cloud service provides such a large amount of file space for regular, non-premium users. I wonder if Yandex-Bar will be imposed on users from other countries?
