ICS update for Xperia 2011 smartphones

after the recent announcement of an update to ICS for Xperia P, we are pleased to announce the release of a new version of Android 4.0.4 for Xperia 2011 smartphones.

Starting this week, Xperia arc, Xperia arc S, Xperia neo, Xperia neo V, Xperia mini, Xperia pro, Xperia active and Xperia ray will receive an update for Ice Cream Sandwich containing bug fixes, performance improvements, etc.

The next step is an update for Xperia mini pro, Xperia neo L and Live with Walkman, which will start in the next few weeks.

If you have already upgraded to ICS, you will receive a notification on your phone and will be able to download the firmware over the air. For those who still use Android 2.3 Gingerbread, you will need PC companion or Bridge for Mac. More information, as usual, at www.sonymobile.com/update .
