No matter how you treat McDonald's products, many people should like this news. The fact is that the management of the fast food chain decided to try out the PayPal order payment system. True, in many restaurants McDonald's in the CIS there is not even the possibility to pay for your order with a credit card (is it everywhere?), Now the company decided to check how convenient it is for customers and the company to pay / receive PayPal.
Testing is conducted not everywhere, but only at 30 selected points in France. Here, customers will be able to pay for ordered dishes using the electronic payment system PayPal. True, the software that is used for payment, created by the company McDonald's. A prototype of such a program was shown at a McDonald's press conference held in Orlando, Florida, earlier this year.

The application is designed for tablets and smartphones, and with the help of these devices, buyers will be able to pay. For such buyers, a special line-up will be organized, in which supporters of virtual payments will stand. By the way, I myself would not mind in restaurants / cafes to pay using electronic payment systems, including Webmoney. But, unfortunately, not all restaurants and cafes have even plastic terminals, not to mention Webmoney | PayPal and other payment systems.
Now McDonald's has about 30 thousand restaurants around the world. If you enter the PayPal payment system in most of these restaurants, then the queues may be reduced, and workers will clearly be less worried about surrender and other things that are typical of cash.
It is worth noting that another company, Square, has previously signed an agreement with the Starbucks cafe chain, and now customers can pay for their coffee through mobile payments. It would be nice if such a system could be implemented in the CIS (in Ukraine, for example, a mobile payment system from Privatbank, with almost free mobile terminals, it could well be an alternative to Square).
