Smartphones with Intel processors will appear in Russia over the next month, representatives of Megafon told RIA Novosti. From another source is known more accurate date - August 22.

The so-called "carrier smartphones" with Intel Atom processors have already gone on sale in India and the UK in the second quarter of this year. In China, such devices are manufactured by Lenovo. All these devices belong to the middle price category and are running Android OS - currently the most popular mobile platform in the world.
“Indeed, MegaFon and Intel are beginning to cooperate in the production of smartphones. The first device will be presented within the next month. Information about the price and technical characteristics of the device will be announced later, ”the spokeswoman for the operator, Julia Dorokhina, told RIA Novosti. A representative from Intel confirmed this information without providing additional details.
In August, sales of MegaFon SP-A20i Mint smartphone, which is based on the Intel Atom processor, will begin. This is the first device of its kind in our market. The price of the model SP-A20i Mint will be announced soon. As expected, it will be less than 20 thousand rubles.
