Process Judge Apple vs. Samsung called the parties unwise and asked Apple lawyers about their addiction to drugs

Lucy Koch, engaged in the process of Apple vs. Samsung, apparently close to a nervous breakdown. The fact is that the process is coming to an end, and the passions reach their peak. Next week, a jury trial should begin the decision-making process, and the lawyers of the two corporations cannot calm down. Witnesses, experts are called, bales of documents are provided, which, apparently, has finally bothered Judge Koch.

A federal judge has already stated that he does not trust any word spoken by representatives of both companies and demanded, not speaking, but documents. This requirement Apple lawyers apparently took too literally a few hours ago submitted 75 pages of claims. Such a move aroused indignation in Judge Koch:
Lucy Koch (judge): Do you want me to review 75 pages of your claims by the evening? What are you, crack crack? You know that these summoning of these witnesses is impossible! Who will deal with witnesses, if we have 4 hours for everything about everything?
Bill Lee (Apple): Your honor, first, we did not smoke crack, and second, we calculated everything!
Michael Jacobs (Apple): Your Honor, we can examine some of the testimony today, and the rest tomorrow. We did not want to burden the court.
Lucy Koch (judge): Didn't want to court? Yes, you have made 75 pages of claims! Do you think they didn’t want to burden the court? If I find at least one among the witnesses presented, the grounds for calling which in my opinion are insufficient, then I will find a way to fine you.

After that, the judge soon closed the meeting, stating that the parties were inadequate.

The trial itself is interesting - it showed the early prototypes of the iPhone, revealed some data and presented all the patents for which Apple has claims specifically to Android.
And the judge’s dissatisfaction with the parties is not new to modern patent battles. Previously, Richard Posner, who analyzed the Apple Inc. process. vs Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc., criticized both sides and stopped the process, refusing Apple on all counts.
What awaits Samsung in this process, we find out on Tuesday. In the meantime, despite all the tricks of Lucy Koch, Apple’s position looks stronger.
