A number of checked pages on
Google+ have clear addresses of profiles,
writes TechCrunch . Lucky brands and celebrities like
Toyota (
google.com/+toyota ),
Delta Airlines (
google.com/+delta ) and Britney Spears (
google.com/+britneyspears ).
Google promises to give the opportunity to make clear addresses to a greater number of users, but they do not yet say when this will happen.
Name addresses have long been one of the most requested features on
Google+ . The standard
URLs of profiles and pages on
Google+ clearly cannot be remembered, and business cannot use these ugly addresses in their marketing materials. For example, a
Google employee profile that reported the appearance of name addresses is located at
plus.google.com/u/0/109179785755319022525/posts .
As stated by
Google , the new feature will be available to users around the world, but it is unclear how
Google plans to choose the first batch of users who will be able to choose their own
URL- address.
Google only noted that it represents this feature for “a limited number of verified profiles and pages”, and that this is only the “first step”.

Facebook launched the profile's name addresses back in 2009. Then he also allowed individual brands and celebrities to choose a
URL for a few months before all users.
