Canon has released firmware v2.0 for Canon 7D

Usually, the release of a new firmware involves fixing some bugs or flaws. That is, as a rule, significant changes are not foreseen.
But this time, Canon went a different way: the new firmware for the Canon 7D contains many improvements and new features.
I will list the main ones:
- Buffer increase for continuous shooting up to 25 frames in RAW format and up to 130 in JPEG.
- Editing RAW-format images directly in the camera.
- Assigning a rating to images right in the camera.
- Resize JPEG images directly in the camera.
- Set the maximum value for the Auto ISO parameter (400-6400).
- Manual setting of the audio recording level when shooting video.
- GPS support (requires a plug-in GP-E2 receiver).
- User settings for naming files.
- Time zone settings.
- Faster scrolling for enlarged images.
- Operational control screen in playback mode.
