Korean scientists have created a bending battery

It is finished. Korean scientists have created a bending ultra-thin battery.
Now, just around the corner, say, an e-book that can be folded in half and put in your pocket.

The dimensions of modern devices depend primarily on the size of the screen. Tablets and e-books at the moment make a different size - someone buys a device with a large screen for readability, and someone like small devices that easily fit into a pocket or purse.

If tablets and readers get curved displays and such batteries, the situation will change.

There is already some groundwork for bending electronic paper and LEDs, but this hasn’t been the case with the battery yet.

Professor Keon Jae Lee (Korean Institute of Science and Technology) explained what they created. It is a razor-thin, lithium-ion battery that remains functional, even when bent. In the video you can see that the diode will not fade and does not turn off when the battery is bent. And the voltage from this does not change.

While Lee is busy creating a more powerful battery and trying to put his brainchild into mass production.
