About a month ago, I was personally approached by the leader of a group of enthusiasts MajorDevTeam , a Russian group of developers, whose goal is to unite Linux programmers who are not indifferent to the fate of the two left by the creators of MeeGo and webOS. We agreed that when something is such that it would be possible to read and seriously evaluate its participation in the project, I will assume the modest role of describing the goals and objectives of the development team, taking into account the fact that the commercial benefit at the moment they don't set themselves a goal.
The most important question was the following - there are already a sufficient number of communities in the world, such as Mer, Tizen, Jolla, Open webOS, WebOSx, in which their plans are approximately the same as those of MajorDevTeam. To this, one of the group members responds literally as follows: “ Everyone has a primitive desire to“ develop the project ”without a specific direction.
