The 18.4-inch glossy display with a resolution of Full HD (16: 9, 1920 x 1080 pixels) is installed in the M18x. The diagonal is 46.7 cm (almost half a meter!), More than enough for a game or movie. The backlight power, according to independent testing, is 221.9 cd / m², and the contrast is 736: 1. Color rendering is also high: the sRGB spectrum is completely covered. The built-in M18x display is also suitable for professional use: it fully covers the sRGB color spectrum.

Full-size keyboard with large keys 18x18 mm is very happy. It is necessary to thank Dell engineers for their work on ergonomics. Recoil, stroke depth, click volume from pressing - everything is pleasant to the touch.
The large touchpad (99x55 mm) - a smooth but non-sticky surface - supports multi-touch and document scrolling.

If you compare it with desktop solutions, you immediately notice a significant similarity with the Radeon HD 7870 - the same chip, but with a reduced clock frequency. The frequency is reduced to 850 MHz (however, taking into account the use of 1280 computing shaders, the frequency is quite sufficient). But 2 Gigabytes of fast GDDR5 memory (256 bits, 1200 MHz QDR, bandwidth 153.6 Gb / s) have not gone anywhere. HD 7970M supports DirectX 11.1, as well as many technologies to speed up CPU calculations (such as OpenCL and DirectCompute). In this configuration, the novelty is gaining more than 11,000 points in 3DMark 11. This is almost twice the performance of all previously released graphics cards from AMD and Nvidia. Also available are configurations with a single HD 7970M graphics card, with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 675M (with both one and two). Additionally, you need to say that the user can choose a configuration with RAM up to 32 GB of RAM, and immediately two HDD or SSD.
