Big update Yandex. Navigator

Today a new version of Yandex.Navigator has been released. It appeared: building a path through intermediate points, saving the map cache along the route and voice search.



Routes do not always consist of points A and B - almost every day you need to go somewhere along the way. For example, for products. Now the Navigator is able to build routes taking into account possible stops. Find the store that interests you on the map - and the application will show the shortest way to the house through this point. Or at once through several points.

Another new feature of the Navigator is caching a map along a route, that is, loading map fragments along which a route is built into the device’s memory. If you suddenly lose internet connection - for example, you enter a tunnel or simply run out of money on your phone - Navigator will not abandon you.

The map caching mode on the route works by default, but you can turn on data download via Wi-Fi only or turn it off if you are roaming.



For the convenience of those traveling without a navigator, we taught the Navigator to understand the human voice. Tell him [Pushkin Street] or just [cafe] - and he will find it on the map.
