The United States Food and Drug Administration recently approved one interesting project. We are talking about microchips that can be swallowed, so that they then provide all sorts of medical information. This is mainly the frequency of taking certain medications. The chips transmit information directly to the mobile device (phone), and then the data is received by the attending physician.
Unfortunately, so far no nanorobots that could cure the body in a matter of hours. Many fiction writers write and write about this, however, so far this remains a fantasy. However, Proteus Digital Health tablets allow you to track the frequency of taking the necessary drugs by the patient. Often people forget about taking any medication, and the picture of treatment is disturbed, and the doctor does not always understand why.

The chips themselves are made of material containing silicon, magnesium, copper. The combination of these elements, the acidic environment of the stomach and medicines leads to the development of weak current chips. Another microchip attached to the skin reads the received signal (a miniature chip, so it cannot interfere in any way). In turn, this chip sends data over the wireless interface to the patient’s phone, from where the information goes to the doctor.
It is planned that such chips will be added to the tablets, and the attending physician will receive confirmation when taking the drug. A few minutes after entering the body, the chip dissolves, and the person receives several useful microelements. Sounds somewhat fantastic, but, as mentioned above, the technology is approved by the US Food and Drug Administration.
It may well be that in a couple of years it will all become a very familiar method of taking medications.
