Microsoft launched Outlook.com today.
In fact, this is still the same hotmail but made in the style of Metro.
Under the cut - my impressions of Outlook.com
')
1. Login window
Especially nothing remarkable, except that - that is reduced to the style of metro.

2. A window with a list of letters
The work area looks very spacious. Very similar to the Mail application from Windows 8.

3. Message Editor

3.1 Useful feature - editing letters in HTML format

4. Hubs
In addition to mail, there are 4 more hubs that can be accessed by clicking on the arrow in the upper left corner (appears when you hover over).

The hubs Skydrive and Calendar have not yet been developed for the metro style, but the People hub has already been fully implemented in this style.
5. People
The Hub People allows you to also connect contacts from Facebook and Gmail.
From the functions of working with contacts it is worth noting:
- grouping
- linking accounts from other services: Facebook, Gmail, LinkedIn (though it was before)
- merging contacts (for example, Vasya from Facebook and Vasily Petrovich from Gmail can be linked as one contact)

6. Contact Editor

7. Skype
Well, the most delicious snack - in the near future promised the web-version of Skype. And judging by the screenshots from the official Microsoft page on Facebook - it is almost ready.
