I was not surprised to find a single article about the project Koding.com. I will say right away that I have no relation to the site administration, but I still want to advertise it, because, in my opinion, it deserves it.
Koding.com is a full-fledged free development environment in the browser and a social network for developers in one bottle. At the moment the project is in the stage of public beta and many functions are not yet available, but now it is clear that it will be interesting.

Right after registration, you are provided with your own externally accessible web server with PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby, node.js and other languages installed on it. MySQL database is also available. You can edit files directly in the browser or via FTP. And for dessert - right in the browser you will find a real bash shell.

The number of teams is limited, but local gurus have been competing with each other for a long time over who will be the first to establish something. In the future, it will not be necessary to conjure over the terminal, because the developers will finish the application catalog.

In addition, you can chat with other fellow programmers, join groups and follow as on Twitter. The truth is that the communication is rather messy, because the groups have not yet completed the “hi everyone” messages and bug reports on the “wall”.

Koding.com recently received $ 2 million in investment, the project is developing by leaps and bounds and they have truly Napoleonic plans for the future.
“We want to become the next GitHub. You’ll work on it. ”
I have
3 invites to public beta. If anyone is interested, please write in comments.
By the way, as far as I know, among the developers there is Russian (e). Call out if you are also on the habr.
UPDATEThe developers have made a new invite code “habrahabr”, however, having seen the influx of registrations and, unfortunately, numerous trolls, registration is currently disabled.
They promised to return the registration in a few hours and deal with the trolls.
UPDATE2Registration reopened.
