After 7 years of development, the first major version of Warsow was released. Warsow is an atypical project with OpenSource with a number of features, and here's why:

Warsow has an open engine and proprietary resources. That is, the entire set of graphics, maps, belongs to the main development team. But don’t be in a hurry to scold the guys for “proprietarism” - this made it possible to preserve the integrity of the game and avoid crushing, to concentrate community resources in one team.
