The 45-watt processors, according to the company, can be an excellent solution for manufacturers, opening up new opportunities for manufacturing PCs that are notable for high performance and, at the same time, low heat generation and noise. Therefore, among the main areas of application of these CPUs, AMD refers to computers for home and educational institutions.

In addition, according to the company's subjective assessment, PCs based on new processors must not only comply with EPA EnergyStar Version 4 standards, but also exceed them.
