Ubuntu on air. Developer answers to user questions in G +
An interesting event, in my humble opinion, passed by Habr. Yesterday (07/26/2012) another ubuntuonair online conference was held . The conference organizers liked the experience of the previous conference so much that they decided to repeat it.
Presenters: Jose Antonio Rey, Jorge Castro, Benjamin Kerensa, and Alan Pope.
Guests: Dell's Barton George talked about the Sputnik project, a new Dell laptop for developers . Steve Langasek from the Canonical Foundations group talked about the secure boot technology and related issues, explaining what is happening in this direction. Leann Ogasawara from the Canonical Kernel team answered questions related to kernel development. Chris VanHoof from the Canonical Hardware Enablement group - answered all questions related to hardware support, including cooperation with NVIDIA, Intel, AMD. Robert Carr from Canonical Web Applications Team - answered questions related to Web applications. Brian Murray from the Ubuntu Defect Analyst group and Canonical Foundations answered questions related to the handling of bug reports. Michael Hall from the Ubuntu Community group answered questions about application developers, application rating, which is used to evaluate more than 140 items of new software for Ubuntu. Jono Bacon, Ubuntu Community Manager answered general user questions about Ubuntu and his latest Ubuntu Accomplishments project! Video conferences are available on the site, there is a calendar in which, probably, the announcements of future meetings will appear soon. ')
I wonder if anyone was at the conference of habr people?
