Smelly Pentel Pencils

The Japanese manufacturer of stationery Pentel has released a new pencil, which, according to company representatives, have a positive effect on mental abilities. When creating Ain Supplio, Pentel specialists used nanotechnologies: the smells are hidden in nanocapsules, which are destroyed during writing and release the aromas of rosemary, mint, lemongrass or green tea. These pencils, in the creation of which “the power of nanotechnology and deep knowledge of aromatherapy” were combined, have already won the “Stationery of the Year” award in Japan.

The main technological feature and characteristic feature of Ain Supplio is the term “storage of odors”. Thus, in an unopened package, pencils retain their aromatic properties for up to three years, when stored in plastic packaging for up to two years, and when used and stored outdoors for up to three months.

The cost of one set (20 pieces) of such pencils in Japan is only about $ 2. According to the company, soon Ain Supplio will be sold around the world.
