According
to TechCrunch , it turns out that, on average, a company attracts more than $ 2,759,000 through
Y Combinator . However, companies receive far different amounts. The two most notable
Y Combinator graduates -
Dropbox ($ 257 million) and
Airbnb ($ 120 million) - account for almost 36% of the total funding.
Considering other well-funded companies, such as
Scribd ($ 25.8 million),
Disqus ($ 10.5 million) and
Posterous ($ 10.1 million), the total amount for the remaining 375 graduates remains somewhat less, although still impressive : 624.9 million dollars.
