Invites to the Windows Store before its opening to Russian developers

Especially for developers of high-quality and successful applications for Windows Phone, Microsoft has developed a support program for migrating applications to the Windows 8 platform.

Now, the support program includes:

1. personal technical support - you can directly ask a question to a Russian-speaking expert;
2. Consultations on design and UX applications, so that your application meets the high quality criteria that you set for your WindowsPhone application, as well as the requirements set by the Windows Store;
3. Priority consideration of applications for participation in Application Excellence Labs - the nearest ones are being held this week (July 23-27) in Moscow.

What does Microsoft expect from developers?

This program is designed for 3 months and will end at the end of September, so you need to have a working version of the application, at the latest - September 1, the basic design of the application by August 1, and a prototype by August 15 in order for your participation in the program to be effective.

If you already have a working prototype of the application, we invite you to take part in the nearest Application Excellence Labs, which will be held July 23-27.

In order to confirm your participation in the program - send us an email to win8@apps4all.ru in which you specify which application you would like to write and in what time frame.

After the general release of Windows 8, Windows Store will allow developers to sell their applications worldwide in more than 200 markets (with support for national currencies in more than 70 of them) in more than 100 languages. Microsoft will support the release of applications in 41 markets instead of 27, as originally announced.
