Almost all these messages are united by a single topic - online casino advertising. A few days after the start of the investigation, Dropbox administration stated that no evidence of any hacking of its servers had been found yet, and it considers the attack unrelated to Dropbox.
However, the administration is investigating further, saying that it will do everything possible to clarify the situation. According to the management of the service, such investigations may take a long time, so it will take several more days to get a full picture of what happened.
