Runtu is a Linux distribution , based on the original Ubuntu distribution and complemented by full support for the Russian language and a variety of pre- configured packages.
In other words, Runtu is a Russian-language operating system based on the Linux kernel , based and fully compatible with Ubuntu .
Runtu is primarily focused on Linux newbies, almost 100% of whom are expatriates from the Windows platform.
Runtu is distributed under the terms of the GPL * license and is free software.
