Recently accidentally found out about one option. In one mall, met with friends, talked. When asked what he might like with the new ones, he pointed to the nearest shop window - there are ordinary three-dimensional letters made of hard plastic. On closer inspection, this turned out to be well-treated foam.
My friend gathered this machine:

We are opening a shop selling self-luminous fillers, and I thought that the letters like the ones I saw in the mall are very suitable for the design of the outlet.
We created a mock-up on the computer, cut out the letters, after which I painted them with acrylic varnish (so as not to tear the foam) with the phosphor.
The experiment turned out to be interesting - from a distance the letters seem monumental (as, indeed, the houses from the article).
