Despite the abundance of the latest mobile devices, including smartphones, tablets, and a variety of hybrids of those and others, some mobile devices remain popular for many years. These devices can be ranked and the smartphone HTC HD2, which went on sale in the distant 2009, and since then remains so popular that unofficial development teams release the same unofficial firmware.

The initial version of the device, as you know, worked with Windows Mobile 6.5. It is clear that the unofficial firmware has flaws, but there are not so many of them. The main problem is that the team of enthusiasts never managed to launch the camera. Plus, the work of the browser (native, so to speak) remains unstable. Nevertheless, all other functions work as they should, including wireless communication, normal calls, software launch, video and picture viewing.

True, the build for the Nexus One, whose hardware is a bit similar to HD2, was taken as the basis for the work. Apparently, thanks to this similarity, unofficial firmware was able to work relatively well.
