Fotker - comfortable viewing Yandex. Stock

I am a photo amateur and I really love Yandex. Photos. They serve me both as a showcase for my pictures, as a memory of my travels, and as one of the backups. But in the case when I want to give a link to view a certain album, I feel infinitely ashamed.

At the same time, it no longer holds onto monitors less than 23 ", and we are left with a lot of garbage around the frame, a full page reload on every transition, no preloading of the next photo, and a terrible outdated interface.

No, I do not like it and I do not want! I want it to be beautiful, comfortable, fast and also so that you can turn the finger on the tablet with your finger!

No sooner said than done! The idea was brought to life together with WildWolf's brother at DOW Hackathon in Kharkov . There we wrote and presented Fotker , after which its design was created by our comrade Anton :



Fotker makes it easy, tasty and completely free to view all public albums and photos of any Yandex.Photo user. And if you copy the link from the address bar of the browser and send it to a friend, you can share Fotker and with him!

When you click on a photo, it unfolds over the entire browser window and then you can flip them back and forth, left-right, back and forth. Maximum emphasis on your photos and minumum of distracting elements!

Technically, this is implemented as follows - Fotker gives JavaScript to the browser, which makes a request to the Yandex.Foto API from the client, receives JSON, parses it and creates the page. All photos, small and large, are downloaded directly from the Yandex.Foto servers.
