The largest index of pirated content

Recently, Google has published the Transparency Report with a complete list of all requests for censoring unlicensed content in search results. Last week was a record in this regard: 719,416 requests were received and satisfied.

The text of each request contains the URL that hosts the “pirated” content. The most interesting thing is that all the specified URLs are duplicated on the website of the Electronic Frontier Foundation as part of the Chilling Effect project.

Thus, on the ChillingEffect site automatically - through the efforts of the RIAA, MPAA, and other “copyists” - the world's largest database of links to unlicensed content is assembled.

And here comes the apotheosis of absurdity and insanity, when right holders begin to automatically submit requests for censorship of their own requests . Microsoft and others have already submitted 159 requests to chillingeffects.org !

But the request again falls on chillingeffects.org, it is again indexed by Google, and since the text of the new request again contains a link to the material that violates copyright law, the comic process continues in a circle.
