Interior Minister urges to deprive terrorists of Internet access

Russian Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev said that law enforcement agencies of the G8 should coordinate efforts to deny terrorists access to the Network’s resources, Interfax reported.

“It’s no secret that today the worldwide network is increasingly being used by terrorists as a center of information, which contains detailed instructions on conspiracy, making explosive devices, weapons and methods of using them,” said Nurgaliyev in an interview to be published in Rossiyskaya Gazeta in friday

“Here (on the Internet) there is a search and recruitment of new supporters of terrorism, their instruction, propaganda, distribution of video reports on the crimes committed. And therefore, the response of the countries of the Group of Eight "must be decisive, ambitious and coordinated," said the minister.
