From the very beginning, I wanted to order a Nexus 7 on Google Play, but natural laziness did not allow me to do this. In addition, there is still a notice hanging there that the shipment will begin only in 1-2 weeks. And given the fact that after a couple of weeks on vacation, the purchase of the Nexus 7 was postponed, it would seem, until the fall. Until I saw a few messages that the Nexus 7 has already begun to be delivered to retailers. In general, as predicted - under the cut unboxing co many photos.

Yoda climbed onto the box in surprise - something was expected, at least larger.



Under the colorful cardboard - a simple black box with a white sticker with service information (barcodes, serial numbers, etc.)



The box is sealed with two black stickers.



The tablet itself lies immediately on top, practically unprotected. But all wrapped in a protective plastic. On the plastic, by the way, fingerprints.
Under the tablet is a square box (according to the form factor, a CD is expected inside).



Inside this square box is a warranty, a short manual, cable and power supply.



On the left side below are four contacts that allow you to hope that there will soon be convenient docks for listening to music and watching movies.



Downstairs - microUSB and headphone jack.



On the screen itself there is also a fingerprint (not mine - I did everything in gloves :))



Yoda adds that the power button is somehow unusually located on the right side, just above the volume rocker.

First start

The tablet comes with a battery that is more than half charged, so you can turn it on immediately.

Now we are asked if we want to use the backup and restore functions - I answer “Yes”, because then after a full reset, if this happens, you will not have to install all the applications again.



They ask if I want to share my position with Google - I answer yes. Paranoids can be paranoid, but so many Google services are tied to the location of a person. I do not know how well it is developed in other countries, but in the USA it is quite convenient. Well, if someone needs to find me - they can do it without Google.



Finally, the last screen ...
Only now, re-reading the post, I read that on the screen they give $ 25 credit to Google Store. I read about it on Google Play - they give this credit if they buy through them. To be honest, I did not expect the same from retailers.



And before us is the Nexus 7, ready for use.
