Odroid-X - a powerful alternative to the Raspberry Pi
Now no one questions the success of the mini-computer Raspberry Pi. Almost immediately after the release of this mini PC, new models of mini-computers began to appear, receiving their share of buyers. Something similar happened a few years ago, and with netbooks, which are now a great many. And what is interesting, in the case of netbooks, the idea of getting a small (and most importantly - inexpensive) device for working on the Web and with office programs was somehow forgotten. Very soon netbooks began to appear, the cost of which exceeded the cost of some powerful laptops. Apparently, a similar fate awaits mini-computers.
The Raspberry Pi itself costs a bit. But quite a lot of more expensive (and more powerful) alternative models have already appeared. On Habré, more than once and not two of these models were described, but it seems to be a bar of $ 100. none of them overcame. The other day, a powerful mini-PC, the Odroid-X, was created by Hardkernel.

The configuration of this device is much better than the characteristics of most alternatives. So, the system has a quad-core Samsung Exynos 4 processor with a 1.4 GHz core frequency. The graphics system is quite common - Mali 400. The RAM here is 1 GB. In addition, there are 6 USB ports, Ethernet, headphone and microphone jacks, plus a memory card slot. By the way, optionally, you can order wireless communication modules, LCD, HDMI port, camera.
The size of the device is very small - only 3.5 * 3.7 inches. But the device is several times more powerful than the Raspberry Pi. The cost of the device is 129 US dollars. According to the developers, their system can work with Android OS, with Ubuntu and other varieties of Linux systems. Probably, such a device will also find its buyer - powerful mini-PCs are also needed.
