Medical startup from Microsoft

Microsoft announced the launch of HealthVault medical service, the development of which lasted more than 2 years. The project is something like a repository in which users can add a variety of information about their health (for example, information about surgeries, blood pressure, blood cholesterol levels).

The main trick is that, depending on the list of published information about the patient, the service will provide users with advice on hospital visits or insurance. In the future, doctors will be able to monitor the patient's health condition remotely.

The service is free, but at the moment it is only launched in the United States. Support for HealthVault has already been announced by over forty companies and organizations, including CapMed, HealthMedia, LifeScan, Johnson & Johnson, WorldDoc, Mayo Clinic.

Also worth noting is the fact that Google, in turn, is working to create an analogue of medical online storage, which will be called Google Health.
