Facebook has announced a new version of the Facebook SDK for iOS, offering developers many new features and support for iOS 6. The company also introduced another important community resource,
iOS Dev Center , where Facebook gathered all the tools and resources.
A Facebook post on Developers Blog says that iOS Dev Center offers a lot of content for new developers, including the Getting Started guide, a tutorial on how to create iOS apps with Facebook integration, and many other materials aimed at clarifying all issues related to Facebook integration into applications. In addition, the new Dev Center contains all the Reference Docs that developers may need for coding.

In addition to this, walkthroughs are the Login with Facebook for iOS, Feed Dialog for iOS, Link to Your Native App, and the Multiple Apps.
As for the SDK, the most interesting updates are:
- Improving session management, which means that it will be easier for developers to handle authentication on Facebook.
- Ready-made tools for displaying photos of users from their profiles, Facebook Places and more.
- Improved feature support for Objective-C, in the native programming language of iOS, including improved memory management.
- Improved, ready-to-use, support for Facebook's own application programming interfaces (APIs).
Facebook also promises that as soon as iOS6 comes out, their SDK will start using the previously announced native Facebook Login feature.
