Google recently released the open source Android 4.1 Jelly Bean source and the expected reaction from the xda developers community was not long in coming.
Someone with the nickname Hashcode in beta status published the Jelly Bean firmware for the popular Kindle Fire tablet. A video demonstration of the work is shown in the video below; A subjective opinion about the speed and responsiveness of the interface suggests that a tablet with a much more modest technical characteristics than the Nexus 7, is quite suitable for the latest version of Android.
