My Mir@Mail.Ru: from inconvenience to illegality

It all started with the fact that many of my friends brought to the attention that I allegedly sent them an invitation to the new social network Mail.Ru - My World.

The content of the invitation was something like this: “Nikita Shchekin suggests you create your own World on the project of My World@Mail.Ru.”

In parallel with this, letters from other people were pouring into my mailbox on gmail.com with the same suggestion to me to create My World.

In fact, for the promotion of its new service, Mail.Ru took, without my knowledge, from my mailbox parusnik@mail.ru, addresses of personal and business correspondence and sent invitations to my address on these addresses.

These are two serious violations: the use of personal information and the use of my virtual profile as advertising.

All my clients, friends, enemies, and even the director of a large plant on my behalf were sent invitations to create the world. For many of these people, I am an Internet expert (in fact, I am a regular user) and they considered my invitation honorable. Type - "Nikita will not advise the bad." And then this terrible project.

I decided to enter My World to find at least some settings. Found the tab “You offered (18)” - the list listed the addresses where I sent the invitations. In this list I did not find so many people who complained about my invitations. Those. This list is also a falsification.

Then I found the function “Delete My World” and immediately took advantage of it.

In my e-mail at gmail.com, I blocked all emails from this project.

For friends: Guys, I did not send you any invitations - Mail.Ru did this without my knowledge and participation.

')

For Mail.Ru: Guys, before my tolerance was enough to tolerate your inconvenient projects. From inconvenience you have grown into illegality. Congratulations, we moved to a new level of communication.
