Microsoft buys Perceptive Pixel, a manufacturer of 82-inch touch screens





Microsoft has already shown interest in Perceptive Pixel's giant capacitive screens, which was noticeable at the Windows 8 presentation. But now the relations between the companies will become a bit more official.

REDMOND, Wash., And NEW YORK - July 9, 2012 - Microsoft Corp. and Perceptive Pixel Inc. (PPI) today will be one of the most significant and most importantly, multi-touch display solutions.
