
In May, Foxconn announced the imminent entry into the market of miniature personal computers with passive cooling systems. Then it was the announcement without any specific details. Neither the release date, nor the price, nor the configuration were reported. Now these PCs, which were called Foxconn Nano, are already officially presented, with all the necessary data.
So, the company showed two new models of NanoPC, calling them the quietest nettops at the moment. Both models, AT-5250 and AT-5600, are based on the Intel Atom and AMD Brazos platforms, respectively. Consumption in standby mode is about 15 watts, in active mode - 24 watts. According to the developers, nettops are completely silent thanks to the use of a passive cooling system.

With all this, the nettop size is really minimal: 190 x 135 x 38 mm. Foxconn engineers have been working on a new cooling system for a long time, achieving visible results. As for the storage medium, the buyer can choose either a 2.5 "hard disk or 1.8" / 2.5 "on his own - both models come with free slots.
The developers have provided two USB 3.0, 4 USB 2.0, gigabit Ethernet port, HDMI and VGA. There is a 5-in-1 card reader, plus a wireless Wi-Fi communication module. Such a nettop can be attached on the back of a monitor or TV, VESA standard is included.
The AT-5600 is equipped with an AMD Brazos E450 processor (1.65 GHz) and a Radeon HD 6320 graphics adapter. The Foxconn AT-5250 is equipped with an Intel Cedar View D2550 processor (1.86 GHz), plus an integrated GMA 3650 graphics. prices, the AT-5600 will cost 280 US dollars, AT-5250 - 260 US dollars.
