Find and call: the first trojan on the App Store

Recently on the Apple App Store discovered the first trojan. They became the program Find And Call. This program, as I understood it, provided something like a VoIP client with the ability to call, send SMS, search for subscribers via the Internet. This program has also been registered on Google Play.

The program is good, if not for one nuance: the program copies the device contacts to its server and sends spam. It is possible that the program has other Trojan functions, But I did not have to read about them. It is noteworthy that in the AppStore this is the first case. In Google Play, such cases have occurred, since there moderation is rather weak. In the Apple App Store moderation is very "cruel", takes about three weeks. And still, a trojan hit the App Store - it was badly checked! And by the way, the spam text was written in Russian.

On July 5, a letter arrived from the support that spam was sent due to the failure of one of the program components. But is it true? And why was the contact list copied? Probably the developer knows. In the meantime, the App store should be moderated more carefully in the future.
