Enforta has completed the first stage of the project to build a WiMAX network in Russia
The Prestige-Internet company ( Enforta trademark) has completed the first stage of the project on building a network of wireless broadband access in Russia.
As part of the first phase of the project, the company put into operation a WiMAX standard wireless broadband access network in 15 cities of Russia. The company currently provides its broadband access services in Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Omsk, Novokuznetsk, Ryazan, Orenburg, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Perm, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Tagil, Omsk, Barnaul, Novosibirsk, Novokuznetsk, Tyumen, Irkutsk, Vladivostok and Khabarovsk.
As part of the second phase of the project, it is planned to connect another 14 cities of the Russian Federation to the network by the end of 2007.
