The developer of the popular Instapaper application, Marco Arment, reported a crash that occurred with his updated iOS application. According to him, the application started after the update, but then it fell. The only way to start it was to completely remove it from the device (with the probable loss of all data) and then reinstall the latest version.
The problem with Instapaper was mysteriously resolved itself, but a number of application developers contacted Marco and notified him that the same thing happened to their applications the last few days - after the program was updated, they were launched, but they immediately showed an error and crashed. And in some cases, even the reinstallation did not help.
Among the affected applications are Instapaper, GoodReader, Pair, Pinball Maniacs and even Angry Birds Space HD Free.

Presumably, the problem is related to encryption on the App Store side, with the result that the user receives a binary that refuses to run. The creator of GoodReader has developed even a big
instruction on how to roll back to the previous version without losing data.
Apple is currently busy solving the problem, and Arment recommends that developers refrain from updating applications in the coming days.
