Webit Startup Challenge 2012 in Istanbul. Will there be Russian startups?

Not so long ago, I published a report on our participation in the Seedcamp Berlin . The event really gave a good kick to our project, but now is not about that. Just a few days ago, the organizers of Webit Congress , which will be held in Istanbul on October 10-11, invited us to send a request for Webit StartUp Challenge 2012, which will be held as part of the event. 21 finalists will be selected who will receive free stands and the opportunity to speak to VC and potential partners.

It so happened that we missed the deadline for sending applications, and when we ticked off on Tuesday, it turned out that the deadline for accepting applications was extended until July 20. We have already sent a request, and this post is dedicated, in fact, to the fact that applications are still being accepted and, perhaps, this information will be useful to someone :) Personally, I would be pleased if Russian start-ups show a “class” for such events.

PS I myself was not, but they say that the beginning of October is better time to visit Istanbul;)
PPS If someone was on Webit before - I would love to read reviews / impressions, just to be ready in case
