As you can see, almost a year and a half has passed since the launch of the latest version of the home server, and all this time I had enough of a wireless mouse and keyboard for all operations with the media server. But I occasionally provide technical support for the grandmothers of my children who live in different parts of the city and a few years ago I planted on Ubuntu with access via SSH and VNC. Therefore, the idea to get remote control of the entire economy from the phone, ultimately, received its implementation.
Of all the diversity of Google Play, I liked only two products: Free bVNC Secure and Jump Desktop Free (RDP & VNC) The first is simple, completely free and devoid of annoying advertising. The second one is as beautiful as a supermodel, and although it allows you to connect only one remote desktop, it does it as well as possible. There are versions for iOS.
In the settings we write:
connection name
IP address or DNS name of the server
port (by default 5900),
password (if set to server)
Everything. Separate pleasure - to use the phone in touchpad mode. Highly recommend.
