Google Tablet Nexus 7 violates Nokia patents

The Finnish manufacturer recently said that the technologies used to create the New Nexus 7 tablet violate some Nokia patents related to wireless technologies. In particular, Nokia believes that this tablet violates patents relating to wireless standards for Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11 Wi-Fi).

At the moment, a large number of companies do enter into license agreements with Nokia regarding the use of these technologies. But neither Google Inc. nor ASUS, according to Nokia representatives, are included in the list of licensed companies. In this regard, the Finnish company demanded that Google and ASUS enter into licensing agreements with it.

So far, no one is threatened by the court, and the whole situation can be corrected by simply signing the papers from the named companies. As for Google and ASUS, the representatives of both companies still remain silent, neither denying nor agreeing with the accusations.

It can be assumed that the conflict will really be exhausted by signing the necessary papers, and then there will be no court, as is the case with Apple. But it may be different, and then we will hear about another patent dispute, of which there are already too many now.
