Blizzard bans Diablo III players for using Wine

Since the end of June, Blizzard has banned a large number of players using Linux or FreeBSD + Wine to play Diablo III for cheating.
The company refuses to unban users or return money. Probably, the ban is caused by the false triggering of the Warden anti-cheat module on Wine. By the way, users who used Cedega or CrossOver were also banned.

The official answer is:

We've been extensively tested for positive situations, including replicating system setups for those who claimed they were banned unfairly. We found that we’ve been in our findings.

If you play the game on Linux, it will not get you banned - cheating will.
