Are the usability principles different for different genders?

Has anyone conducted research to determine the differences between the principles of user-friendliness of the interfaces (although the topic can be expanded if desired) for different genders? Those. Is it possible to argue that a particular interface will be more convenient for men than for women?

There is an opinion that women appreciate the picture as a whole better, and men, on the contrary, pay more attention to specific details. I do not undertake to prove this statement, I cite it only as an example of differences. Once such a position exists - it is possible and convenience for each sex should be assessed on their own?

Application:
As far as I know, mainly women work in accounting, respectively, and the interfaces for their programs should be designed with this factor in mind. The same 1C.

How do you think? Do these differences play a role or are they too minor?
