Screencast: Introducing Codeception

Framework for automatic testing of web applications in PHP - Codeception lives and develops. But this time, instead of a mean portion of news, I would like to present to you the first screencast which shows the basics of working with Codeception. If you just read about Codeception, then you should definitely look at it in action. Well, if you have not read it, but you have a website that you would like to test - take a look too.

It used to be difficult to show the simplicity of working with Codeception. Everything broke off about the good old PEAR, which is not entirely friendly to the developers. But now Codeception is packed into one executable phar-archive and its installation is reduced to “download and run”.



Disclaimer : the announcer from me is nikakuschy, coding and telling his actions is also quite difficult. I specifically decided not to recite the text on top of the video, but to write it alive, so that it would not give me a production. Therefore, I apologize for stuttering and hesitancy.
