Polaroid released a new type of “instant” camera.

Back in 2010, the Polaroid company released a substitute for its previously extremely popular camera. It was a regular digital soap dish plus a miniature printer. In general, a slightly inconvenient replacement, since in order to obtain a photo in a hard copy, it was necessary to work with both the camera and the mini-printer. But it was in 2010. Now, in 2012, Polaroid has released an almost complete analog of its camera, which millions of people used 10-15 years ago. The new camera model with the ability to take snapshots is called the Z2300.

By the way, there are still a large number of cassettes for those old Polaroid cameras sold at online auctions. Only their price is such that you can buy several digital soap cases, instead of one cassette with reagents and paper.

The new model, the Z2300, is a digital replacement for the old camera, and it all works in much the same way. By the way, last year the digital model Polaroid Z340 was released, but then the device did not become popular due to its high cost (about 300 cu). Z2300 differs in price (for the better) and in functionality.

The system is a hybrid of the same digital camera with a printer. But the mini-printer is now built-in, it makes up a single system with the camera. The characteristics of the camera itself correspond to the characteristics of the average hand of a digital soap dish. 10 MP matrix, 3-inch display, 32 MB of internal memory, memory card slot, mini-USB port and video-out port, plus the ability to receive video with a resolution of 720p.

The dimensions of the camera are not particularly large, so it is even smaller in size than the formerly popular camera.

As for the printer, the ink is enough for 10 photos, it takes an average of 40 seconds to print one photo. But to dry the photo is not necessary, everything is ready for use, so to speak.

The cost of the device is not so high - $ 160. The cost of packages with the number of sheets in 30 and 50 pieces is 15 and 25 dollars, respectively. As for ink / ink, it is still unclear how much it costs and how it is replaced.
